I’m often asked, “How did you get into balloons?” My answer is, “I didn’t get into balloons – balloons got into me!” At the time I began my balloon journey, I was a paralegal in D.C.’s Homicide Division. I loved my job because I felt like I was making a difference by getting justice for grieving families. Then one day, while at a neighborhood block party, I stumbled upon a beautiful balloon arch; it gave me butterflies! I knew in that very moment that I had met my destiny. That experience was a turning point that led me to a completely new path — the art of ballooning. That moment led to the birth of Parties That Pop, a family-owned and operated business built on creativity, passion, and a deep love for celebration. Since then, we’ve had the honor of working on some of the most incredible events, from private celebrations to large-scale corporate events—including at The White House! Beyond balloons, I’m a proud Washingtonian, a wife and a mom to two incredible daughters. I love music, dancing, fireworks, watching sunsets, eating crabs and embracing my Leo characteristics!
